It is not as simple as one may think to strip out the seating from an old auditorium and re-install new chairs. Almost invariably, larger chairs are being fitted and there are at least some areas that are bound to have gaps left at row ends.  These gaps are ‘Trip’ and ‘Fall’ hazards and must be secured off with custom–built items that will fit in to any situation.
 
Not only do these barriers need to be sturdy and fitted securely but they also need to blend in with the décor as favorably as possible. So, we have developed a small niche industry of designing and producing auditorium safety barriers, upholstered in fabric matching with the adjacent chairs.
